I was watching The Graham Norton show last night, the uncut version and I suddenly thought, "why not invite him to our wonderful Festival?"
So I did.
I even mentioned possible accomodation at The Lands Of Loyal Hotel quite forgetting about the historic Drumkelbo which is less than a mile away. Apparently they would even send their Bentley to pick him up from the airport or anywhere else he needed picking up from. Presumably that would also include nipping down to Kirkinch to pick him up after the Festival.
Realizing that we do have very good facilities close at hand made me wonder if we should invite some more celebs.
Of course with all the talent we have here on our own doorstep they could find themselves a bit surplus to requirements and in Graham Norton's case we might have to increase the booze budget.

Darling Director, I do approve of the invitation of Mr Norton, however a good friend of ours may want to share the caravan with him (if you know what I mean). I'm heartbroken that Mr Depp is unable to attend due to other commitments. May I suggest Colin Firth? That would make this old gal ever so happy!!!!!!!!!

Yes I'm sure Colin Firth would make you very happy old gal but we don't have a lake for him to dive into.
mmmmm due to lack of lake, would a plastic baby bath do?
We do have a wee burn running through the garden but by July it could be quite low and if certain people don't get their septic tanks emptied it could be rather smelly.
Perhaps if you were to see Colin Firth covered in slime from the burn that would cure you.
I baby bath might do or we could just put the garden hose on him every now and then to keep his shirt wet.

I just thought I'd let Graham's fans know that he hasn't even replied to our kind invitation. Mind you, that doesn't necessarily mean that he won't just turn up on the day to make fools of us all on his show the next week. Hmmm
